It's what's for dinner.

So I got my laptop back recently, and by recently I mean about a month ago, which means I've gone quite a while without an excuse for being DEAD on this site. (it had fallen off my bed and the screen cracked)

I know that I get about five hits a week on this site and that nobody's clawing through the screen for my sketches- I'm more upset with myself for being lazy.

Art isn't really the focus of my life. I can't really find a niche- I draw about as well as I sing about as well as I write (and if you've seen my drawings, you should be roffling at this analogy). So I don't invest a lot of time in improving my drawing. At least, not as much as I could.

Be that as it may, I seem to be eternally doodling. I'll get taken with a certain style or character from something and then I spend all my free time, over the course of many days, learning to draw them accurately.

Plus I like talking to myself, so I refuse to abandon this journal :3

I have some minor doodles to upload, though to call them that is moot since I hardly ever polish a piece. I also learned how to draw some new styles and nuances of old styles. IDK what the fukk is going on with my original style, I think it's gone completely. I am a master of PLAGIARISMMMMM
but srsly I think my old style is still primarily influenced by Bleach and... um... something else. IDFK.

OH YEAH hay gaiz I made a small comic for my creative writing class (don't ask). Seeing as how it was meant to be only 12 pages, it's ACTUALLY DONE unlike every other attempt at continuity on this account. It's done in an original style (with the exception of one character who is not human, so I used Don Bluth films for reference). I may or may not have Em ink it before uploading, and I still have to get it back from my teacher, Mr.Man-in-a-suit.

O YEAH TWICE Emily buckled and got a deviantart. She inks A BAJALIIZION times better than I do and she paints. I think she had it for a while but forgot the password and never uploaded. She has a lot of paintings up now.

I have to go collect all the recent doodles from various places hidden about my house. Then I have to collect all the old ones in a little wicker basket and burn them.
